Listos los seis clasificados al Grand Prix de la FIVB en la Copa Panamericana

LIMA, Perú, Junio 16, 2013.— Estados Unidos, República Dominicana, Cuba y Puerto Rico, son los cuatro equipos ya clasificados por parte de la Confederación Norte, Centroamericana y del Caribe (Norceca) al Grand Prix de la FIVB del 2014.

Junto con estas selecciones se encuentran también con el boleto las selecciones de Brasil y de Argentina como representantes de la Confederación Sudamericana (CSV).

Puerto Rico obtuvo el último boleto disponible, luego de vencer a Canadá. Este domingo se enfrentó a Cuba, también ya clasificada al Gran Premio. Puerto Rico se mantiene como partícipe en dicha justa de nueva cuenta para llegar a cinco apariciones al considerar las de 2009, 2010, 2012 y 2013 que en unos meses más se realizará en Sapporo, Japón, a la que clasificaron por su resultado en la Copa Panamericana del año pasado en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

FIVB 2014 World Grand Prix six spots awarded at Movistar Pan Am Cup

LIMA, Perú, Junio 16, 2013.— Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and United States became the four teams qualified to the FIVB World Grand Prix of 2014 as representatives of the North, Central and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (Norceca).

Along with them Argentina and Brazil will participate as part of the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV).

Puerto Rico awarded the last ticket available after defeating Canada. This sunday the Puerto Ricans played against Cuba, also qualified to the Grand Prix. This will be the fifth participation por Puerto Rico considering its first appearance for the first time in 2009, along with the editions of 2010, 2012 and 2013.

This year the Grand Prix will be played in Sapporo, Japan. The Puerto Ricans qualified for the 2013 edition after the result of the XI Pan American Cup played a year ago in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
